Robert Bard earned a BA in Administrative and Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario in 1992. Robert joined the investment business at RBC Dominion Securities working in its private wealth management division for three years. Following that, Robert joined Magna Vista Capital Management, a predominantly high net worth investment manager, involved in all aspects of the firm including security analysis, portfolio management, and working with clients on a direct basis. As a Partner of the firm prior to its sale to AGF Management in 2000 and a key member of the investment team following, Robert became the Managing Director in 2005. Robert is a Certified Investment Manager (CIM), a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Robert joined Dorchester as a Partner in 2009. Robert serves as a senior executive and on the board of a number of non-profit organizations.
